Independence Hall at night, July 1776

— PHILADELPHIA · JULY 4, 1776 —

The Lost
Declaration

Pulled back to 1776. One night to save American Independence.

July 4, 1776

A Document That Changed the World

On July 4, 1776, fifty-six delegates of the Continental Congress voted to adopt a document that would alter the course of human history. The Declaration of Independence severed thirteen colonies from the British Crown and announced that all people possess unalienable rights — life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

But tonight the document is gone — and somehow, you are here. Pulled across two and a half centuries to the cobblestone streets of Philadelphia, you have until midnight to recover what was lost. The Republic's future depends on a stranger from a time that does not yet exist.

Your Mission

  • • Investigate four locations across colonial Philadelphia
  • • Recover four missing fragments of the Declaration
  • • Outwit Loyalist spies and decode intercepted letters
  • • Restore the document before midnight
